Job Purpose:

Responsible for counseling individuals and providing educational, social development guidance services in order to achieve optimum cognitive, social and emotional well-being in a manner that is consistent with the American School Counselors standards. This is a shared position between Brookwood School and City Park School.

Qualifications:

This position requires a valid Georgia professional educator certificate in school counseling. Official transcripts, professional certificate, and all test scores required to validate education and licensure. 

This position is not available for individuals seeking alternative preparation for certification.

Requirements:

Master's or higher degree in School Counseling.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bilingual speaking and writing (English/Spanish) and experience working with second-language learners.

This position is posted for the 2024-2025 school year.
